- 64 Mb of RAM (128 Mb or higher recommended).
- System display capable of 256-color at 800x600
resolution (16-bit color at 1024x768 resolution recommended).

- Microsoft Word 97 or higher. Word is required for
the creation of MS Word menu layout documents (StarChef
can run without Word installed).
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 (with Service Pack
2) or higher.
